Shipping and Delivery
These are the terms and conditions that we keep revising and updating based on the shipping and delivery models available.
- Order Confirmation: The order is confirmed after the payment for the order is received at OdishaHandicrafts.COM banking system, and the stock is positive for the product IDs in the order in real-time at the vendor’s or Odisha Handicraft warehouse.
- Order Communication: After the order confirmation, the Shipping activity, Delivery partner details, and Courier tracking details are shared with the buyer through email and mobile number associated with the buyer account.
- Shipping for Domestic Orders (Within India): Once the orders are confirmed, the orders are shipped through our registered delivery partner (Delhivery), IndiaPost, or other delivery partners of the Sellers.
- Time Taken for Domestic Shipping: It is a standard process to start the shipping within 48 hours of order confirmation.
- Time Taken for Domestic Delivery: All domestic deliveries (within India) take around 7 to 10 days for the first delivery attempt at the buyer’s address. However, in case of unavoidable challenges related to weather, delivery partner, or transportation, we request buyers to allow us more time for delivery – which we proactively communicate to the buyer as and when we receive the updates from the respective delivery partners.
- Shipping Cost of Domestic Orders: The shipping cost of domestic orders is usually a flat fee and included in the order cost, which is paid upfront by the buyers during the purchase.
- Cost of Return due to Defects: Adhering to the guidelines mentioned in the Return and Exchange Policy page (https://odishahandicrafts.com/return-and-exchange), if OdishaHandicrafts.COM approves the return, then the cost of the return is usually borne by us; however, at the discretion of OdishaHandicrafts.COM and are communicated to the buyer before initiating the return.
- Cost of Exchange (Within India Orders): Adhering to the guidelines mentioned in the Return and Exchange Policy page (https://odishahandicrafts.com/return-and-exchange), if OdishaHandicrafts.COM approves the exchange, then the cost of the exchange is to be borne by the buyer and is communicated at the discretion of OdishaHandicrafts.COM before initiating the return.
- Shipping for International Orders (Outside India): Once the orders are confirmed, the orders are shipped through our registered delivery partner (Delhivery), IndiaPost, or other delivery partners of the Sellers.
- Time Taken for Domestic Shipping: It is a standard process to start the shipping within 48 hours of order confirmation.
- Time Taken for Domestic Delivery: All international deliveries (outside India) take around 10 to 15 days for the first delivery attempt at the buyer’s address. However, in case of unavoidable challenges related to weather, delivery partner, or transportation, we request buyers to allow us more time for delivery – which we proactively communicate to the buyer as and when we receive the updates from the respective delivery partners.
- Shipping Cost of International Orders: The shipping cost of international orders is usually as per geography and is included in the order cost, which is paid upfront by the buyers during the purchase.
