Return and Exchange Guidelines

 

RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY – DOMESTIC ORDERS (Within INDIA)

For any return request, send us an email return request within 24 hours (Within INDIA) of delivery at orders@odishahandicrafts.com with the following details:

  • Order Number
  • Product Code
  • Reason for returning the product
  • UNBOXING VIDEO and PHOTO of the product that you intend to return to us
  • Returns/replacements cannot be initiated for any customized product and without the UNBOXING VIDEO showing the opening of the parcel and the defect in the product

Important Note for Return and Exchange (Domestic – Within India)

  • Payment Refunds (in the form of online credit notes ONLY) are applicable only in case of damaged products. The online store credit has a validity of up to 1 year from the date of the email containing the credit note from Odisha Handicrafts.
  • Returns and Replacements are done by Odisha Handicrafts if wrong products, wrong sizes, or damaged products are received by the customer. In the case of Exchange, the return shipping cost has to be borne by the customer.
    Exchange is allowed with the same or different products based on the stock availability.

 

RETURNS POLICY – INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (Outside INDIA)

If you receive any defective product, please contact us within 48 hours (Outside INDIA) of delivery by emailing us at orders@odishahandicrafts.com with the following details –

  • Order Number
  • Product Code
  • Reason for returning the product
  • UNBOXING VIDEO and PHOTO of the product that you intend to return to us

Important Note for Return and Exchange (International – Outside India)

  • We unfortunately do not have an exchange policy for international customers.
  • Returns cannot be initiated for any customized product and without the UNBOXING VIDEO showing the opening of the parcel and the defect in the product
  • The shipping charges for sending the products back to us have to be borne by the customer, and Odisha Handicrafts shall have no additional liability in this regard.
  • After receiving the defective product, a quality check will be done by our team.
  • Payment Refunds (in the form of online store credit notes only – valid up to 1 year) are applicable only in case of damaged products. The amount refunded to you would be only for the products after deducting the shipping charges you paid during the purchase.

 

GUIDELINES FOR A VALID RETURN

  • Handicrafts, garments, and other products, if any, should be in original condition
  • Tags should be retained and returned
  • No customization should be done. Fabric/Apparel should not be cut or used
  • Any free gift accompanied with the product should be returned
  • We request that you DO NOT return any product, before receiving confirmation from Odisha Handicrafts’s customer service team through email for the same. In case any product is returned without such confirmation, Odisha Handicrafts does not guarantee any credit or replacement of the product.
  • The email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the single order/package delivery. Please note that Odisha Handicrafts shall examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customer’s emails. All defective products being returned to Odisha Handicrafts shall be done ONLY through registered airmail/courier.
  • The return should be sent back to Odisha Handicrafts within seven (7) working days from receipt of confirmation for the same from Odisha Handicrafts. Safe receipt of defective products by Odisha Handicrafts is the sole responsibility of the customer, and upon compliance with these provisions, the obligations of Odisha Handicrafts, if any, under this return policy come into effect.
